
David Greco has over 35 years experience in real estate development, engineering, finance, marketing, sales and executive management.
After graduating from Miami University with a degree in business administration and a minor in computer science, David began his career as a software engineer. He was rapidly promoted to senior architect and project manager for some of the most advanced systems of their time. His experience includes consulting, marketing and business development positions for leading companies where he helped launch new lines of business. Later in his career, David was CEO of several start-up software companies in Silicon Valley including one he founded that generated a 20X return for initial investors when it was acquired by a NYSE traded firm.
After retiring as a high-tech entrepreneur in 2004, David began a new career in real estate development. He is considered one of the pioneers of residential vineyard estate communities in Mendoza, Argentina. His first project was widely covered in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, Clarin (the largest newspaper in Buenos Aires), Los Andes (the largest newspaper in Mendoza) and Cuisine & Vins (the leading wine publication in Argentina).
David has hands-on experience in locating and acquiring property for development, designing the master plan, planting vineyards, and selling estate parcels to customers from the USA, Argentina and Europe. He also worked with a licensed enologist to produce a Gold Medal winning wine from the first harvest on Calitina’s Malbec vineyards in San Rafael, Mendoza. David is the portfolio manager for the Calitina Investment Fund and provides consulting and business development services to property owners and developers in Argentina. David earned his MBA from Miami University and took courses in wine marketing and finance at the University of California, Davis.
Originally from the scenic wine and culinary destination of Cleveland, Ohio, David has lived in the San Francsicso Bay Area for over 25 years. He and his wife Patricia, a native of Buenos Aires, spend about three to six months each year in Argentina managing their investments, making wine, eating asado and dancing Tango.
David's team includes experienced architects, land planners and surveyors, builders, contractors, vineyard managers, agricultural engineers, winemakers, graphic artists, financial analysts, accountants, tax advisors, attorneys, project managers and other professionals.
