In March 2004, Patricia and David went on vacation in Argentina. After visiting Patricia's parents in Buenos Aires, they traveled to the province of Mendoza looking for adventure. They drove past an abandoned farm with 200 neglected olive and apricot trees and a crumbling old house and barn. Captivated by the tranquility and natural beauty, they stopped their car and bought it.
Now after planting 12 hectares of vineyards, reviving the trees, installing roads and building four beautiful villas their vision to create Mendoza's first wine resort is becoming a reality. Thanks to the terrific team they have working with them.
The next time you're in Mendoza, please stop by. We're only about two hours away from the Hyatt but a whole world apart. We'll be officially open for business in November 2008. But our Malbec 2006 wine is ready to drink now. Come have some, and learn how to make your own just like it. We're waiting for you.
